D/S-stol med designpris!

The local design company Ralston & Bau from Dale has designed its own style of chair, the D/S chair, for D/S Ekspedisjonen. Its shape is inspired by captains' chairs from old steam ships. The unique aspect of the chair is that it is glued together in one piece, without a frame. The Norwegian institution, Norsk Form, has selected the chair as an example of good Norwegian design inspired by Dale, and it will be exhibited in Norsk Form's autumn exhibition.
